Last weekend I picked up a
Sony HC26 Camcorder in perfect condition. Like the other Sony, which is being used as the “Lake Ontario Web Cam”, this one also has 20X Optical zoom. Combined with it’s Carl Zeiss lens, this will be perfect for the “Roof Cam”, as it is small enough to fit inside a heated outdoor housing. Now I just need to figure out how to mount it and get it onto the web, then we will be able to see the line-up and the waves breaking...
