Yesterday a good friend, Mike Sandusky of
Surf Ontario informed me that his sister has been diagnosed with MS. As a fundraiser this summer, he is planning a long distance Stand Up Paddle Board paddle across Lake Ontario from Burlington Beach to Ashbridges Bay in Toronto. The paddle is approximately 67 kilometres and will take 12-16 hours to complete. Grant Kennedy, a close friend, web designer and fellow lake surfer will be joining him in this feat.
