The Roof Cam...

I now have the Sony HC26 Camcorder installed in a heated outdoor housing with a mounting bracket and enough cable to reach from the roof to the server. Thank you Mike for the generous donation. As soon as it stops raining I will install a power outlet up there and then we should be ready to roll. The view should be a lot better as the camera will be about 25' higher. I am now looking for a used Channel Master Rotor and Controller, like the ones used on old TV antennas. If you have one gathering dust and would like to donate it, please let me know. If I can mount the camera housing on the rotor, it will allow the camera to automatically pan through 180 degrees. Check back early next week to see what progress has been made...
