I was contacted by Steve Kupferman of "
The Torontoist" a couple of weeks ago. He had stumbled across my Web Site while browsing the
Origin Surf Forum and expressed interest in doing an article about winter surfing on Lake Ontario. After a telephone conversation to reassure Steve that I was not completely crazy, and a check on the surf forecast we agreed to meet at one of the local spots when the conditions were right. I contacted Mike and Grant from
Surf Ontario and we all headed out to the lake. The surf was pretty reasonable, and as usual it was cold and windy. Steve showed up with Miles and Christopher, two photographers from The Torontoist and that was about it. Click on the photo to read the article and see all the photos.
